1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives.
For some people this has come about because of reasons such as:
bereavement
redundancy
relationship problems
work related stress
and other such life-changing experiences
The effects of these experiences can leave people with anxieties, low self-esteem,
a lack of motivation, isolation and a feeling of hopelessness. Other people who have more severe mental health problems can find themselves in
situations of great distress when logic and reality is lost and overcome by paranoia
or psychosis.
Mind Enfield is a local independent charity, working in partnership with other statutory
and voluntary organisations to provide an range of services to meet the needs of
mental health service users and to challenge the stigma and isolation experienced
by people who have mental health issues.
